You may download the application form from this site and reproduce it to share with others.  In order to be eligible for selection, candidates must submit one copy of the typed application form along with the materials requested in Sections 3 through 5.  Interested victim service providers should complete their application and submit the COMPLETE set of materials via fax or mail to:

Applications that do not contain all of the requested materials will be returned to the applicant and the applicant will not be considered for admission until the full package is received by the National Crime Victims Center offices.

The application deadline for the 2008 SCVAA is April 1st, 2008, but you are encouraged to submit your application as soon as possible.  Please do not send tuition until after you have been notified of acceptance into the academy.

Overnight accommodations (individual rooms) will be provided on campus.  Please check back periodically for further information.  All eligible students are expected to stay on-site.  The project staff of the SCVAA will make all reservations after the selection process is complete.  Unfortunately, due to state travel regulations, there are some limitations in the ability for the project to pay hotel costs for students who live within a fifty mile driving distance to the academy location.  If this affects you, please click here for more information.   Parking, breakfast, and lunch will be provided at no cost to all students.  Students will be responsible for their own dinner.

Two versions of the application are available for download: an electronically-fillable Word version, and a printable PDF Version.  The PDF versions require that you have Adobe Reader installed on your computer (this may be obtained free by following the link).  The fillable Word version can be saved to your computer and completed in increments, saving after each change that you make.
