The application deadline is April 1, 2008 but you are encouraged to submit your application as soon as possible.

The cost of the week long training is $375.  These costs are assigned to the educational portion of the program.  The grant that is funding this project pays for the cost of your room, breakfast, and lunch.  Therefore, the only additional cost is your evening meal and mileage to the College of Charleston.  Unfortunately, due to state travel regulations, there are some limitations in the ability for the project to pay hotel costs for students who live within a fifty mile driving distance to the Academy training site.  If this affects you, please click here for more information.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided to all students at no additional cost.  Students are responsible for their own dinner.

Payment is not due until the time of acceptance to the academy.  If you must cancel your registration, the fee is refundable (minus a $50 processing fee), until May 1st.   There will be no refunds given for cancellations received after May 1st, 2008.  Your payment must be received by April 25, 2008.  After you have received notice of acceptance to the Academy, please mail your payment (made payable to the Medical University of South Carolina) to the address above.  You may qualify for a scholarship through OVC's TTAC.  Please follow the link to learn more about their program.
